Product description
PDF file, 12 pages. Written pattern with chart.
Viscountess is a long crescent shawl, knitted top-down, that is easily modified to your tastes.
Knitted loosely the shawl will be grand and showy, while with a tighter gauge it will become a gorgeous scarf. Modifying the length and thickness of the tassles changes the look of the shawl easily, or they could be left off completely. The striped look of the shawl is accomplished by alternating basic knits and simple lace, and the stripes make it easier to add colour to your shawl.
The gauge mentioned applies to the large and airy shawls made with fingering weight yarn. To modify the size of your shawl, just tighten or loosen your gauge or use a different weight yarn!
The pattern includes lots of pictures and the more difficult stitches are explained step by step, so that even the knitters that are just starting out can follow the pattern easily.
Please note that the PDF file will be sent to your email after purchase.
